CANCELLATION AND REFUND
The Tenant must notify Hébergia of any cancellation by written notice addressed to email@example.com.
If the cancellation is made less than 30 days before the start of the stay, the Tenant will be fully responsible for its booking and no refund will be given. If the cancellation notice is received more than 30 days before the start date of the stay, the deposit is non-refundable. These amounts can not be used as a down payment for a subsequent rental unless Hébergia is able to rent to another tenant at the same cost for the duration of the stay. If this is the case, an administrative fee of 10% of the value of the stay for a minimum of $ 75 will be charged to the credit card on file
A credit card is required at the time of booking to guarantee your reservation. No amount will be deducted from it. A deposit of 40% of the value of the stay, minimum $ 500, is payable at the time of booking by Interac Transfer and the balance must be paid by postdated check no later than 30 days before the start of the stay. For any reservation made less than 30 days from the date of the start of the stay, the full payment is due at the time of booking by InteracTransfer.
Following your reservation, you will receive an e-mail with all necessary explanations, including the address of the chalet.
Minimum age to make a reservation : 25 years old
LIFE JACKETS AND PADDLES
You will find the following inventory in your chalet: 2 adult jackets, 2 child jackets, 1 adult paddle, 1 child paddle. The inventory will be checked after departure.
NON-SMOKING - 500$
Please note that all of our units are non-smoking. Our Inspection Team will assess the home after your departure. Any damages due to indoor smoking will be at the renter’s cost.
Never leave a fire burning in the fireplace if you exit the chalet. Before using the fireplace, please ensure that you carefully read and understand the instructions.
FIREWORKS - 250$
Fireworks are strictly forbidden.
CURFEW - 250$
The Tenant agrees to respect reasonable rules of conduct and not to disturb the neighbors and residents of the area and to maintain a reasonable level of noise at all times, but especially between 10 pm and 7 am. For this purpose, the tenant agrees not to use the spa between 10 pm and 7 am. Any violation of this clause will result in an additional charge of $ 250, which will be automatically charged to the credit card given at the time of booking, for any inconvenience. And a recurrence will result in another $ 250 surcharge and eviction of all occupants, without any compensation or refund.
No animals of any kind are allowed on site.
Our homes are privately owned and we expect clients to maintain the property in a clean and presentable state throughout their stay.
Club Lac Walfred homes are constructed with wood flooring for your comfort and enjoyment. In order to maintain the integrity of these floors, renters are required to remove all footwear (shoes, boots, sandals, etc.) after entering the house. Any damages to flooring as a result of not removing footwear will be at the renter’s cost.
The house will be inspected after your departure and if the home is not left in a satisfactory state, charges to your Security Deposit could/will be incurred. Any damage to the property will be assumed by the renter.
No reservation under 25 years old. The person in charge of making the reservation needs to be present and provide us a copy of his driving license by email before arrival.
The number of individuals sleeping in the rental property must not exceed the number confirmed by the sleeping capacity of the bedrooms of your chalet including children over 4 years old. Failure to comply with this term will result in terminating this agreement.
A list of sleepers will be sent to you once we receive your acceptance of the conditions. That list must be completed and returned to Club Lac Walfred prior to your arrival.
HUNTING AND WEAPONS
Hunting is prohibited on the entire perimeter of Club Lac Walfred. Possession of weapons of any kind is prohibited on the site at any time. Ignoring this rule will result in immediate eviction of tenants involved.

It is possible to arrive from 3 p.m if the chalet is not rented the day before your stay. If the chalet is not rented the night of your departure, you can enjoy it until 2 p.m.(Not applicable in July, August, and holidays)
All rates are subject to applicable taxes:
Quebec Lodging Tax: 3.5%
The decision to rent accommodations and use of all facilities/appliances/ (including the use of Internet, telephone, electrical appliances, spa, BBQ, oven etc.) are entirely at the renter's risk.
SPA - 500$
The tenant is responsible of the maintenance of the hottub during his stay and it is his duty to be sure to keep it in the same condition as arrival. He must ensure that the hot tub works well all times. If there is a problem, the tenant must immediately notify The Manager.
No responsibility can be accepted by Club Lac Walfred or the chalet owners for any event resulting in death, injury, loss of personal effects, or damage whatsoever to the renter or his/her guests' personal property.
In case of an uncontrollable situation (power failure, Internet interruption, sewers failure, water shortage, phone interruption), no refund will be processed
Additional charges, not exceeding $ 1000 will be charged on the credit card to cover any additional charges described herein, as well as any breakage, theft and unhealthiness caused to the property, grounds and equipment.
In the event that the fees are additional to $ 1000, an agreement between the parties will be concluded.
Receipt of your deposit confirms that you have read and understood this rental agreement and have accepted all the conditions.

In this regard, the parties elect domicile in the judicial district of Saint-François.
